AGM/OPEN MEETING 8TH OCTOBER 2019

70 Members turned up for our AGM on Tuesday 8th October and were greeted with Prosecco and a chance to mingle with other Residents and Committee Members.

Martin Brown (Chairman) opened the meeting and the AGM ran efficiently and according to schedule.

No nominations had been received to join Committee and existing Committee Members were voted on block for another year.

The Constitution Proposal was accepted and has now been officially signed by Martin Brown (Chairman) and Josephine Peach (Secretary).

Clare Robertson informed everyone of the meeting to be held in the Church Hall on Sunday 3rd November (3pm) re Climate Change.

Councillor Stephen Legg (Chairman of Northamptonshire County Council) was the speaker for the evening.

There were questions from the floor, after which the Raffle was announced.

The winner of the First Prize (a magnificent mouth watering hamper) was won by Katie Baxter (guest from Bridgewater Residents’ Association).

2nd prize was won by Liz Cox.

3rd prize Jan Glasspool.

4th prize Graham Stoppani.

The Raffle raised the outstanding amount of £152.

 

COFFEE MORNING 7TH OCTOBER 2019

As ever the Coffee Morning on Monday 7th October was well supported with over 40 Members in attendance.

Andrea Newman gave a most informative and interesting talk on “Leonard Cheshire”  – a major health and welfare charity working in the UK and running development projects around the world.

Thanks to Julie who provided refreshments for this happy gathering.
