Another hugely successful get together. There was no speaker. However (thanks to Councillor Stephen Legg) we now have an Amplifier System which means everyone can hear the speaker, etc.We all sang carols, and then enjoyed a very tasty Christmas Dinner at the Bold Dragoon.Councillor Mary Markham provided a dessert for us all.Our thanks go to Stephen for this very welcome donation of the Amplifier system; to Mary for her Dessert contribution; to Peter & Julie at The Bold Dragoon for all their support during the year, and wonderful food; and last but not least to Liz Gausden who, very efficiently, organises all our social events..
