FRIENDS of WESTON FAVELL VILLAGE CEMETERY
This is a newly formed active group of enthusiasts with ambitious ideas to improve biodiversity in an often overlooked place of calm in the village.
Working already with partners such as Northampton Borough Council and the Wildlife Trust we aim to sensitively enhance the cemetery environs to encourage flora and fauna in and around the margins.
The Friends group was effectively launched during the Open Gardens event on 30th June 2019. Many visitors en route to enjoy the gardens took time to meet us at the cemetery where we were able to share our plans for the site.
You may have ideas yourself to share with us! Please feel free to do so. We are good listeners.
