What an afternoon!
The sunshine, the singing, the dancing, the picnics ……… all perfectly wonderful.
A very big thank you to all our local residents and friends, who helped us raise so much money for the Friends of St Peters.
It was a terrific afternoon, to put it mildly! One big party from beginning to end.
We were getting nervous about the weather that weekend but our luck was in,
and the sun came out in style (as did we all…..).
So far the event has raised £1,012.00 for FoSP, but we should receive additional
funding from a pound for pound scheme later.
* Friends of St Peter’s was formed by local residents, who are not church members,
to help support the fabric & maintenance of the church building. We help raise funds through regular or one-off donations, and by holding occasional fundraising activities.
